Holidays at the Brixen Valley - for the entire family...

As the oldest of all towns - Brixen im Thale - it has given the valley its name. In contrast to the many other alpine valleys, the Brixen valley does not end at the top of the valley, but is open on both ends. It connects the Inn valley at the Western side with the area of Kitzbühel at the Eastern side.

The "grass mountains" of the Brixen valley are situated in between the rock walls of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range and the ice-panorama of the Hohe Tauern mountain range. During the ice age, glaciers have shaped the valley into is unique form and thus have built the basis for our ideal skiing region and hiking area today.
