Cross-country skiing holidays at the Kitzbüheler Alps...
Kitzbühel and the “Wilder Kaiser” are surrounded by a network of more than 600 km of perfectly tended and snow-secured cross-country trails. The broad valleys of the area mean that cross-country skiers in the “Kitzbüheler Alpen” region are rewarded with superb panoramic views, without too many strenuous climbs.
Tremendous importance is attached to the cross-country skiing infrastructure in the “Kitzbüheler Alpen”. For example, besides the well-maintained skating and classic cross-country trails, the circuits feature various starting points with changing rooms, lockable boxes, shower facilities and restaurants.
There are also snack facilities and rest stations set up at regular intervals along the trails. Despite these careful considerations for the comfort of our guests, all cross-country trails can be used free of charge, as can the most ski buses.
A hint for those who are romantically inclined: The 3.5 km long night trail in Kitzbühel. And for serious cross-country skiers: The 10 km long trail at high altitude to the Kaiserbachtal (740 to 1100 m).
